Mastering the Art That Is Grilling

No cooking is complete if you don’t have the goods for it. Having quality meat and charcoal grill tools is what makes an outdoor barbecue complete.

But what happens when you are completely new to grilling? For first time grillers, grilling might be a challenge because of it complicated procedure.

Using a charcoal grill and learning about the basics of grilling is the most important thing before you even consider lighting up your barbecue. There are some important steps you need to follow after we guarantee that you will be grilling like a chef. So get set and Grill!!

Prepping your kettle for grilling is the first step. Ascertain first, that the dampers in the kettle lid and bottom of the kettle are open. Don’t forget to remove the cooking grate in the top and fill the kettle with charcoal.

Now light up the thing, and you are good to go!

By preheating your kettle, you make sure that there is a safe zone for quality cooking. To do that, you need to check over the lit charcoal and transfer it to a side of the grill. Cover up your kettle with a lid to ensure faster heating.

Charcoal grills require almost 10-15 minutes of heating. Wouldn’t be such a bad idea to marinate your meat with a little olive oil and the seasoning of your choice?

A seasoning decides the texture and taste of a meat. For a simple plain barbecue, a seasoning of salt and pepper with garlic or lemon does the trick.

Once you are done checking the meat and its temperature close the lid and set another time of 3-4 minutes in the timer. This way both the sides of the meat get evenly grilled, and the taste is multiplied.

Don’t forget to wear hand gloves while holding the barbecue lid. You don’t want to burn your hands and ruin the whole experience.

When the grilling is done, and your meat is cooked to perfection, take it off the grate and let it cool for some time. This is a good way to let the meat soak up all the flavors of its own juices and the seasoning.

After the cooling is done and the meat has had its resting time, it is now ready to be cut up and devoured in its whole goodness.
